Amy has worked in Construction Consultancy for 7 years including;

  • Party Representation in Adjudications for both the Referring and Responding Parties

  • Party Representation in Arbitrations for Claimants and Respondents

  • Assisting Contractors with Adjudication enforcement instructions

  • Assisting Contractors with litigation instructions

  • Offering a range of dispute avoidance and dispute resolution services relevant to the construction Industry

  • Working across a wide variety of projects from tender stage to completion of all projects from £9,000.00 to multi-million pound contracts

  • Offers training to Contractors across the country in dispute avoidance and dispute resolution

  • Director of Amison Dispute Resolutions Ltd since March 2015

  • Guest Lecturer for BSC Construction Management Course at Leicester College in association with De Montfort University

Amy came from a subcontractor family background and from that she grew up developing an interest in the various aspects and subsequent issues and disputes that affect the construction industry.

Having originally commenced her legal career in 2003, Amy worked in various solicitor’s firms in the Midlands in both criminal and civil aspects of the law before going on to study and specialise in Construction Law. Amy worked on-site for various subcontractors getting hand-on experience whilst studying Construction Law and Construction Adjudication.
