We were saddened to hear the news earlier this week of the death of well known, and well liked and respected mediator, Nigel Frost.
Nigel helped Hunt ADR on several occasions. He delivered our first ever CPD programme, Law for non-lawyer Mediators - in return for a bottle of Mateus Rose! He also took part in our first mediator skills training programme, again delivering a special module on law and giving invaluable advice to mediators and trainee mediators on how to ensure they use the correct documentation and protect themselves legally when taking on mediation work. I use that advice every time I mediate.
Nigel was also kind enough to provide private legal advice to Hunt ADR and to assist in whatever capacity he could. I will never forget his stories on how he dealt with costs, why he supported Man City and how he drove a taxi around Devon. Nigel will be missed by the whole mediation community.
I send my condolences to Nigel's family from everyone associated with Hunt ADR.
